Small SaaS, big taste
Why I'm bullish on tiny SaaS — and why taste matters more than scale.
Everyone wants to be a unicorn. I'm happy with a workhorse.
Small SaaS wins because it can have taste. You can obsess over an empty state for a day. You can answer every email yourself. You can say no to a feature because it would make the product worse, not because you don't have the resources.
Taste is a system:
- One radius. One type scale. One motion curve.
- Monochrome first, color only when it means something.
- Delete the clever abstraction. Keep the boring thing that works.
LumifyHQ is small on purpose. It does business ops without pretending to be an ERP. NeuralBloom is small on purpose — it does content without pretending to be a content studio.
Small is not a stepping stone. It's the point.
